Our canal-front 2 bedroom house offers all the amenities of your own home, but nestled in the heart of the Blue Heron and Key Deer Refuge in wonderful Big Pine Key (mile marker 31). Our entire house is decorated with comfort in mind. Sit in our terrace or lay in our hammock and let your cares float away. A recently remodeled and fully furnished home awaits you. Some of our amenities include a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, bunk beds and a full-size sofa-bed in the second bedroom, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet, gas BBQ, fish cleaning station and more. Rates include the use of two adult-size bicycles and a canoe.

Big Pine Key is the home of the tiny and gentle key deer, found nowhere else in the continental U.S. Many plants and animals in the island are rare and unusual, including species of Caribbean origin. It is common to see the beautiful key deer around the house at sundown, iguanas during sunny mornings, fish, anemones, and jelly fish in our canal, native orchids on the trees that surround the property. Walking or bicycling is an excellent way to further explore and experience the quiet and peaceful nature of this magnificent island. Local restaurants, grocery stores, seafood markets, hardware shops, banks, drugstores, post offices, bait/tackle shops, boat rentals, gas stations and marinas are less that 5 minutes away. The Villa is central to a wealth of Florida Keys activities including: abundant fishing, boating, kayaking, diving and snorkeling; biking/walking trails; dining and shopping (all within a 7 mile radius). Bahia Honda State Park is the most beautiful beach in the Keys; all water sports are possible. Snorkeling or diving at the Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary will leave you breathless. Fishing in the area rates among the best in the world. Swimming with the dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center will be an unforgettable experience for everyone. Key West's night life, dining, shopping, museums and walking the old town, which is full of historic sites, offers entertainment for the entire family.
