Welcome to Gulfside Sunrise, a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in Cedar Key Florida. Recently remodeled with new furniture (2009), laminate flooring, linens, and new paint, our Unit 1-F condo is awaiting your visit! This is a well-equipped Upper End unit with sweeping open Gulf, natural beach and Island views. Large private Decks both Gulf and poolside. Boat Trailer Parking, DSLPerfect for two couples or a family, we've tried to think of everything to accommodate your needs. One of our best features is our unique offset/angled layout which gives awesome views from our balcony with maximum privacy. You'll love views from the balcony with sunrises year-round. We spend a lot of time just drinking in the view and the ocean breezes, watching the birds, boats and the dolphins go by. Our living room is furnished comfortably with a new leather sofa and loveseat, each with 2 recliners. The 27" Cable-enabled TV provides Weather Channel so you can check out what your plans for the day will be. We've provided some movies, books, and games and of course binoculars for your viewing pleasure. Easy DSL High-speed internet access and surround sound are there as well.

Our dining room offers a table with six chairs to accommodate you and your guests comfortably for dinner. Nautical-themed local art and charts decorate the walls if you have time to look (if the view hasn't completely captivated you). Our kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes for your creative urges.

The master bedroom offers a king bed with a walk in closet, table, dresser, and ensuite bath with plenty of counter space. The guest bedroom boasts a queen bed, night stand, dresser and closet. The guest bedroom's full bath is across the hall.

What's in a name? We are "Gulfside", and get the "Sunrise" out of the water 365 days a year. Gulfside Sunrise is our private 2 bedroom/2 bath luxury upper end unit 'Southern Home' condo - a perfect Holiday retreat! We have beautiful East (Sunrise) and South (Gulf of Mexico and forever wild island views and cool summer breezes off Gulf, that can be enjoyed from our private well furnished deck, fully appointed living / dining rooms, or private natural beach below. You can even enjoy year-round sunrises out of the Gulf of Mexico from the comfort of the king-size bed in the master suite.

With views to die for and unique layout that affords awesome views and maximum privacy, Gulf side Sunrise is ready for your vacation. If you are not a birdwatcher when you arrive, you will be when you leave! Excellent fishing, sailing, biking, hiking, walking, kayaking, island hopping, unique shopping, beach combing, shelling, stargazing, cooking, dining, bird and dolphin watching, sunrise and sunset watching, reading, swimming, hot tubbing, and relaxing are just a few of our favorite pastimes. Comfortably decorated in nautical seaside motif, the light open floor plan is ideal for two couples with ability to entertain several more comfortably. The private Gulf front deck has high swivel chairs and low table with four more chairs.

Don't miss the 'Changing of the Guard" of the night birds and day birds. Often Pelicans fly so close to the deck that you feel that you could reach up and touch them... Eagles, Osprey, Oystercatchers, Roseate Spoonbills, White Pelicans, Ibises and Skimmers by the hundreds, all kinds of Hawks, Herons and Egrets, etc., (the list is too numerous to mention). We're not in the middle of Florida's "Nature Coast" for nothing.

While enjoying my morning coffee, I like to check the tide charts and wind to determine if I'm going sailing, kayaking, fishing, or staying on land and walking, biking, shopping, or just hanging out at the pool and Hot tub.

Holidays/Festivals require 4 nights rental, (exceptions only within 2 weeks

No cleaning fees, CC required for deposit/Damage. Normal check-in is 3pm, check -out is 11am.(check w/office for early/late check in/out) We are pet free and try to be Low allergy, (but cannot guarantee that a previous renter didn't slip in a pet without permission) We have to charge 9% tax, Sorry. If you call the office, (be sure to request Unit #1-F)
