You’ll find comfort and beauty in this 3rd floor Heron unit at Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. The large balcony provides scenic views of the Choctawhatchee Bay and the lush, tropical pool area. You’ll have use of this family oriented resort’s multiple swimming pools, spas and other water features including a children’s spray water park and our much-loved Lazy River. And as a Heron guest, you can also enjoy a smaller, quieter, seasonally heated pool available for this building only. Sleeping accommodations in this spacious unit include a king bed in master, queen bed in guest room and full over full bunks with twin trundle in the 3rd bedroom. Each bedroom is furnished with its own TV (cable) and DVD player. There’s plenty of space in the living room for the family to stretch out and enjoy a movie on the 37” LCD TV.

Relax at the end of the day in the large jetted tub in the spacious master bath. The master bath also features a large shower with flat-curb, walk-in entry – perfect for guests with limited physical ability. Cooks in the family will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and the large, family-style dining table for serving up a big meal or you can dine on the balcony. Charcoal grills and a picnic area are provided for the outdoor cooks. Of course, eating out is an easy choice also, as there are several great restaurants within walking distance to the resort. Beach lovers will find the pedestrian bridge an easy and convenient way to access the beautiful beach with a 7-8 minute walk. Stroll on down the beach to fish from the pier or to enjoy the Ft. Walton Beach Boardwalk, where you can choose from several restaurants, night clubs and souvenir shops. Next door you’ll find wave-runner and pontoon boat rentals to explore the bay.
