We love beaches--Hawaii, Caribbean, you name it--but when we first saw Cape San Blas we planted our flag and that was it! Until we can retire to enjoy the sugar sands, emerald waters, relaxing pace and delicious seafood, we are happy to share our townhome with you. Decorated in blues and greens, it's fully furnished for a great stay. Why crowd your family into motel rooms when you can have four bedrooms and a full kitchen at award-winning Cape San Blas! (#1 Beach in all of USA in 2002, Dr. Beach). We like to: rent a pontoon from the marina and explore the Bay, rent kayaks and bikes, watch the sunsets (as good as Key West without the jugglers and vendors), ride horses on the beach. We shop on Reid Avenue in Port St. Joe (Mom gets her Vera Bradley at Portside Trading, the teens like the bookstore down the street), eat at the marina, at the Mexican restaurant on Reid Avenue, at Killer Seafood at Mexico Beach, at Boss Oyster or Owl Cafe in "Apalach." Some of us hire a guide and fish in the Bay and bring home delicious fresh fileted seafood! Others of us go to "the Pig" and buy hushpuppy mix or frozen hushpuppies and a frozen Key Lime Pie (hey, it's my vacation too!)

If the catch needs a little help, or for another night, the Piggly Wiggly or St. Patricks or any of a number of fish markets have great seafood and helpful owners who'll give you advice on cooking. There are ecotourism tours (we went on a great one on a lake--ask at the marina), St. Vincent's Island, and more. And we love, love, love time on the beach. The townhouse laundry room is on the first floor, and there's a mini-fridge there too. Each deck has table and chairs--two balconies are open, one is screened. May you have a trip with wonderful memories at the Cape!
