Tarpon Springs vacation rental

Our 4 bedroom home is a lovingly restored, 2400 sq. ft. roomy cottage ..not a condo ..and it offers our guests spacious rooms, privacy and quiet. The neighborhood is a residential district of historic homes. Walk to restaurants, bakeries, banks, and numerous antique stores. Beautiful Spring Bayou with its millions of gallons of fresh spring water is home to manatee and even dolphins and is one block away. A quick walk brings you to the historic Sponge Docks, located on the Anclote River, which flows through this part of town. Here you can see the fishing, crab and sponge boats that call the dock area home.

Clustered along the docks are numerous Greek restaurants, cafes and stores. This is a unique place, where Greek is a first language to many. It is more Mediterranean than American... friendly and interesting. No Starbucks, Borders or chain stores crowd the town. Gulls cry from above the fish docks and from within the cafes and restaurants you hear exotic Greek music, conversation and laughter. Beaches are about 15 minutes away. Spend your day sunbathing and swimming then return to our cottage where you'll appreciate the silence, lack of crowds and abundant (free) parking.

Wake up in the morning to the sound of doves as the sun rises across the street. If they're in season pick mangos, avocados, grapefruit, tangerines or kumquats from our trees. Our kitchen is cook friendly with all appliances near to hand. It has a corner booth with table and chairs, a counter with stools and computer work station. The first BR has futons, the 2nd (Yellow Room) has a queen bed and armoire, 3rd BR (Blue Room) has 2 twin beds and closets. The Master Suite has a queen size bed with cathedral ceiling, walk in closet and French doors which open onto a back porch. Master Suite has additional private entrance also. Master Bathroom has sunken tub and oversize, custom designed shower.
