Funky Palms, our newly renovated (2007), bright and sunny Indian Pass 3 bedroom beach house is located about 50 yards from the beach and has great unobstructed Gulf Views. There is a large screened porch across the south side that always enjoys a soft Gulf breeze and there are decks on either side of the screened porch that provide for excellent sunbathing spots. Funky Palms now offers high speed internet access, so bring your laptop! The home sleeps eight, with 2 large king rooms - each enjoying private porches - plus one full room. In addition, there is a large Florida room with twin beds plus a large play area for kids.

There are two full baths, one upstairs and one down. The Living, Dining and Kitchen areas are open and provide terrific space for a family gathering. The Living area is equipped with a large TV including VCR and DVD plus a stereo including CD player. The Kitchen is well equipped, including all new appliances. Funky Palms has plenty of parking for your boat and is only about a mile from the public boat ramp located directly across from St. Vincent Island.

The Indian Pass area is ideally suited to those that love the outdoors. St. Vincent Island is a 15,000 acre National wildlife preserve that has no residents and can be visited during the day for exploring and picnics. You’ll see all kinds of wildlife including bald eagles that nest on the island. The fishing is some of the best in Florida, oyster beds are abundant, and seasonal scalloping is a favorite activity of many visitors. Visit Capt. No high rises, no monster houses, and a relaxed feel will make you think you’ve gone back in time to a Florida that is disappearing all too fast. There is something about this area that makes you feel close to God. Some say it is the spirit of the Native Americans that inhabited St. Vincent Island years ago. I’m not sure what it is or where it came from but it is something special and you’ll feel it when you come.
