Although constructed as a 5 bedroom, 4000 sq ft luxury villa, ‘the Palms’ has been professionally furnished as a large 4 bedroom for up to 8 discerning guests. The home will appeal to those seeking a much grander than average home with a large south-facing pool and deck area, not overlooked, within secluded, landscaped gardens. Three 18-hole golf courses are within a 3-mile radius. It's only a few minutes by car (or use the bicycles that are provided) to many restaurants, tropical beaches, lagoons and islands. The inter-coastal fishing areas and beaches of the Cape Haze peninsular and Boca Grande are a few minutes further.

Three of the four bedrooms are equipped with American king-sized beds (2 master en-suites with individual air conditioning zones). The fourth bedroom is a twin. There are two separate TV lounges, plus a further lounge, dining room and a breakfast area overlooking the pool. Equipment includes DVD players, Playstation & CD and radio/intercom is fitted to all rooms and the pool deck.

Port Charlotte and its shopping malls are 20 minutes by car. Rotonda is situated on the Cape Haze peninsular west of Charlotte harbour, between Venice & Sarasota to the North and Naples to the South. From the air, it appears to be a perfect circle two miles from the coast and about three miles in diameter. It is divided by its canals and infrastructure into eight segments, with a blend of high-calibre homes, lakes, golf courses and green belt. Voted amongst the top 10 ‘best places to live in the USA’, this area is a great base to explore the real Florida, providing easy access to the Everglades, the towns of Sarasota, Venice, Naples, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda and Fort Myers.

Tampa and Busch Gardens are an hour and a half to the north. Orlando and the many other theme parks, such as Disneyworld and Universal Studios, are 2.5 hours drive. Often visitors choose a hectic 2 or 3 day trip away to the Orlando theme parks before returning again to unwind and relax. Enjoy the year-long warm climate and waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You can busy yourself with a variety of activities including golfing, boating, fishing, jet-skiing, scuba diving, sailing, dolphin & manatee spotting, cycling, tennis, walking, or just kick-back, relax and enjoy. This area has it all.
