The home is right on the beach and right across 2 lane Gulf Blvd, you will see the yachts cruising up and down the Intracoastal Waterway. Kids enjoy fishing on the bay in the morning, exploring a neat old house, and spending time on the beach wading out in low tide to our sandbar in our warm emerald Gulf waters to find cockle shells, Atlantic conches and sand dollars. Our 2 bedroom "Plus" on the main floor of the big house features antique red heart pine floors, many windows with fantastic beachfront views, a large kitchen, two outdoor dining areas, plush king and queen pillow top beds and trundle beds on the sleeping porch. It's the owner's suite and very nice! |

At age 79, this is the oldest remaining beach house in Indian Shores. You can't get any closer to the beach, with the sea oats and dunes just steps away. We are uncrowded and unhurried. This part of the island is the most sought after. You might say we are on millionaire row with a mix of luxury and historic residences around us. My brother owns the waterfront restaurant just down the street and has excellent grouper sandwiches and a live jazz band. Crabby Bills, one the Gulf coast's best seafood places is a mile away in town. |
| As my friend Kat says "We're minutes away from Tampa Bay's best theater, shopping, family attractions and night spots. Take advantage of as little or as much as you want." We pride ourselves on our clean and well kept appearance, we're awarded Superior Small Lodging, and we're rated one of the best on the beach. This vacation, why not do something different for a change and enjoy a piece of old Florida in an historic beach house. |
