 Little Gasparilla Club is a private home on the bay side bayou of Little Gasparilla Island. It has 4 bedrooms & two baths built on stilts in 1985 and remodeled about 5 years ago. The island is 7 miles long with a southern view of Boca Grande Island and the northern tip of the island are Palm Island and Don Pedro Island. The center of the island is an uninhabited state park. Little Gasparilla Island is seven miles of the most beautiful beach on the west coast of Florida. Island access is by boat only, although water taxis are available. |
Our home has a
private dock with a fish cleaning station. Little Gasparilla is a barrier island known for
one of the finest backwater flats and tarpon fishing in the country. Local
guides are available and will pick you up from our dock (#79) and deliver you
back with your catch of snook, redfish or trout. There is also excellent
shelling, bird watching, and only a short beach walk to a State of Florida
wildlife preserve and bird sanctuary. |

There is wonderful shopping on the island of Boca Grande, where you can visit the famous Pink Elephant Restaurant and Bar or go to Miller's Marina for the latest tarpon action news and adventures. It's just a thirty minute drive to the Port Charlotte shopping area, for malls, restaurants, and theatres. There are as many as five local golf courses, all within a thirty minute drive. The island is located about 1.5 hours south of Tampa, between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. |
