Tour the island by walking out of the back of the house to Via DeLuna and catch the FREE Island trolley (seasonal)... it will take you just about everywhere you want to go, toward Navarre Beach and the national seashore on one end, to historic Ft. Pickens on the other. Want your own wheels? No problem. We have two well-oiled beach bikes for toolin' around, and if you are in the mood to do nuthin', then just go off the back deck and chill-out in the hammock! "Serenity Now" is a beautifully maintained beach cottage with a walled/columns front porch, partially covered to enjoy the shade, while the porch swing let's you "laze-away" the hours. A fenced side porch with stone table and benches, as well as 16' X 24' deck at the back of the house with a corner fenced breakfast area, lets you have plenty of space for outside living, while the unobstructed beach access with no houses across the road gets you to the beach in seconds. The enclosed hot/cold outside shower, as well as an outside cold shower for "quick" rinse-offs, is really great for the whole family, and there is nothing like a nice, relaxing, hot, outside showering experience under moonlit, starry skies late in the evening, to wind down the day, and make you feel great!

The entire house has been completely remodeled with sheetrock walls, wonderful color palettes in each room to help you rest and unwind, and the convenience of full central air conditioning and heating. The front door entrance takes you into the "Opal Room", featuring a stone faced fireplace, tiled floor, stocked bookshelves, and a comfy couch that turns into an extra queen-size futon mattress. Large double windows with blinds on either side of fireplace for plenty of light when you want it. Glass-paned French doors separate this room from the main living room, and full-length curtains can be drawn across the doors to allow privacy. The main living room features wood floors, large front sliding glass window with blinds for breezy days, full-sized sofa with queen-size fold-out bed, love seat under the front window, overhead fan, coffee table, book case, color/cable TV, and games and puzzles drawers under the TV. The wood floor dining area and tiled, full-size, completely equipped kitchen have a raised, angled ceiling, and lead from living room area. The dining table seats up to 8 people with extra "leaves" stored behind couch. A sliding glass door with vertical blinds leads from the dining area to the spacious back deck

The kitchen, with a tiled counter-top island, is all electric, and has a full-size freezer/refrigerator, ice/water dispenser. The flat-top range and oven is brand new, as well as the dishwasher and toaster. Plenty of cabinet space is available, as well as pots, pans, cooking utensils, and dishes, glasses, bowls, coffee mugs, and glasses to serve eight.
A hallway off the kitchen leads to one of two bathrooms, this one with full step-up shower, wash stand, and toilet. You'll love the black marble floor, and bright decor. A door leads from this bathroom directly to the back deck for convenient swim/sun bathe access. Further down the hall is a hideaway nook for the full-size, double stack, front-loading washer and drier. A convenient fold-out ironing board with iron is located right in the wall. A door from this hall leads directly to the side porch, so when you come from the beach, you can enter the house to the bathroom and keep out the sand! On the other side of the dining room, a sliding pocket-door leads you into two bedrooms, separated by a small hallway and full-size bathroom, complete with bathtub, shower, toilet, wash stand, and a lit, three-glass panel cabinet vanity mirror. The warm, cozy, and plushy carpeted front bedroom features a queen size, deep-pile mattress bed with 6 built-in storage drawers tucked under the bed to let you "unpack" and feel at home. Overhead lighted fan, wall reading lights, and unit shelving on either side of the bed add a special touch to the decor, and just in case you can't fall asleep right away, there is a flat screen TV wall unit with cable and remote to help you unwind.
Double, sliding glass screened windows with blinds open to the front porch, and two floor-to-ceiling hanging closets with louver doors take care of the rest of your clothes, plus there is a little desk nook separating them for all your personal belongings. The back bedroom is as equally inviting and comfy, with the same plush carpeting and queen size deep-pile mattress and 6 built-in storage drawers underneath. The overhead lighted fan, side panel book cases, and double-mirrored door for the shelf/hanging closet all work for a clean and inviting sleeping experience, and the single slide-open window with blinds looks out to the back deck.
