Crescent Beach cottage rental

"The Crescent Moon", east of A-1A, is a fun-loving 1 bedroom, 1 bath duplex unit, just right for a family, couple or couples (up to four people) that love quiet and privacy, beach soothing mornings and great evenings to love, walk, dance, relax, or party. This is real beach livin', not a condo scene, nestled in a really cool little neighborhood. The cottage has linoleum floors, a small bar-like kitchen, and a living area with eclectic furnishings including a Victorian fainting couch! There is also a pull out sofa if needed. The carpeted unit has a queen size bed and its own private covered/fenced private courtyard with patio furniture and gas grill. The bathroom has a large shower. The front porch is a covered sitting area with privacy and nice landscaping. There is a covered single carport.

There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. "The Crescent Moon" is a front duplex just one block from the beach up and over the huge protected dunes. Darkness and serenity at night protect the turtles that abound in the fragile, lovely environment. You may drive or walk onto the beach at the entrance a block away , or approach the ocean over the dunes on the wooden walkways. Crescent Beach at this area is very wide, with lifeguard and fine white sand. It's perfect for sunbathing, building castles, surfing, setting up all day and just relaxing!

Provided for your beach use are two reclining lawn chairs, umbrella, large and/or small cooler and red wagon to pull your cooler, books, towels, etc. right down onto the beach! Or, you may load up into your car and drive onto the beach. How perfect! A nearby hair salon/spa offers all its amenities including manicures, pedicures and massages! Take a visit to the Alligator Farm, go to the races during their seasons or head on down to Disney. Go out in the evening to nearby casual eateries with excellent food and stay open fairly late. Or, take in the life of historical St. Augustine, Florida just 20 scenic minutes away. St. Augustine, of course, has it all... fantastic shopping, dining, site seeing, all that Florida has to offer!

RATES & INFO

$150 per night $140 off season (3 night minimum always)

March 1st thru August 31st $800 per week

September 1st thru February 28th $600 per week

Monthly rental from September 1st thru February 28th only $1400 per month

$125 security deposit in form of a personal check is due immediately upon making reservation. All remainder is due at least two weeks before arrival date, and a key will then be sent to you. Cancellation fee is 25% of total rental amount, if other applicants for the same rental period have been turned down. Damage deposit will be returned after inspection and the return of keys. Please allow up to a week weeks for return of the security deposit check. You clean up behind yourselves, requiring removal of ALL FOOD from refrigerator and freezer. Garbage and trash placed in garbage can and taken to curb. There is recycling of plastic, aluminum, and newspaper. Pick up is on Mondays. Wash dishes, vacuum carpet, sweep and mop linoleum , wash /dry /fold linens and towels, remake bed. Clean bathroom. Sweep patios. Damage deposit will be used if your self clean up is bad. If you don't want to mop/sweep, clean bathrooms and do the laundry, add $150 extra (in addition to security deposit) for clean up. However, even if you decide not to clean up, ALL food and trash MUST be removed and dishes washed. We cannot be responsible for lost items. No taxes are added. NO SMOKING IN RENTAL. Smoking is ok outside. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground, street nor in the landscaping. Dispose of through the gargage cans.
